Welcome to the Danish Meteorological Institute's (DMI) Open Data API.
Our Open Data API's provide free and open access to DMI’s data. Here you can find all the information you need to register as a user and start using the API. You can also access information on data sources as well as the OpenAPI specification of the API's.
For climate data, there can be a delay in the updates of recent climate data over the next days
On May 11th, in the Forecast Data EDR API service, the number of timesteps and parameters that can be handled in a single request will be reduced. If the amount of timesteps multiplied with the amount of parameters exceed 1000, request will be rejected with a HTTP 413. Please reduce the amount of timesteps and/or parameters in the request.
