Forecast Data EDR		May 19th 2025			To help service response times and availability, the Forecast Data EDR service will return a “413 Request Entity Too Large” HTTP error if a request exceeds the allowed data limit. \n \nIf you encounter this error, please reduce the number of timesteps and/or parameters in the request and try again.

Forecast Data		March 19th 2025			For both STAC and EDR API's there is now an extra parameter in the Harmonie EPS means called "2 metre dewpoint temperature". In the Harmonie EPS Percentiles there are now 2 extra percentiles called “relative-humidity-2m” and “dew-point-temperature-2m”.
Oceanographic Observation API \n \n(Tidewater part)	v2	Mar 14th 2025			Tidewater prediction data has been updated to the years 2025 and 2026. \n \nNote that the number of tidewater stations has gone from 130 to 204 and that some of the existing station numbers have changed. \n \nThey are found in the [link:/friedata/dokumentation/apis/oceanographic-observation-and-tidewater-api|Oceanographic Observation API]. Tidewater is in its own collections - tidewater and tidewaterstations. Climate Data	v2	May 17th 2023		The Drought Index (drought_index) has been recalculated using potential evaporation calculated with Makkink in the equation for the Drought Index model. Drought Index Data from 2019 onwards has been recalculated.

Meteorological Observation Data \n \nOceanographic Observation Data \n \nLightning Data	v2		August 30th 2022		We are happy to introduce a new version of our bulk download service for meteorological observation, oceanographic observation and lightning data. The bulk download service let you download data as .zip files, containing all historical available data, data for a year or a month. \n \nThe new version of the bulk download service for meteorological observation, oceanographic observation and lightning data has the same format as the bulk download service for climate data. \n \nThe data in the .zip files is identical in old and new bulk download service. \n \nMain differences between the old and the new bulk download service are: \n<ul><li>Data in the zip files is one file per day instead of one big file. This makes it easier to quickly find data for a range of dates.</li> \n<li>Year and month files are in a subfolder per year to make it easier to get an overview. This also means that any references to monthly files need to be updated to include year in path. (…/bulk/2022-08.zip -> …/bulk/2022/2022-08.zip)</li> \n<li>New .zip file per year</li></ul>
Climate Data	v2	June 28th 2022	Data with parameterId corrected_acc_precip has been removed from the dataset. This parameter is a special product and is therefore not part of DMI Open Data. Access can be purchased through [link:https://www.dmi.dk/kontakt/|customer support].		For stationValues there are no longer invalid values with 'max_precip_30m' in the dataset.
Forecast Data	v1	October 25th 2022			New forecast model HARMONIE is now available in the API - details can be found [link:/friedata/dokumentation/data/forecast-data-weather-model-harmonie|here]. \nCurrently the process for getting data to the API is only monitored during office hours so lack or delay of data can occur outside office hours. We are in progress of promoting this to the usual 24/7 setup.

Radar Data	v1	January 27th 2022			Volume and composite files have a new property which is also queryable: scan type. \n \nThe scan type of a radar image is either full range or doppler, and tells you the scanning range of the radars in the image. For full range images the radar range has a radius of 240 km, while for doppler it is 120 km. For additional details, see [link:/friedata/dokumentation/radar-data|link]. \n \nFor more on how to query the API for scan type, please see either "Service documentation -> OpenAPI specification" or "Service documentation -> Request & Response Examples".
Radar Data	v1	December 14th 2021			The radardata service is released with 180 days of historic radar data. There are are a few radar data files missing - we are working on patching these with archived data where possible. \n \nAs mentioned [link:/friedata/dokumentation/radar-data|here] half of the volume and composite images have smaller size due to doppler scan. We are working on showing this in the Features properties and adding the ability to filter on radar range in the API endpoints. \n \nPlease note, that our radar data files to some extent differs from the ODIM HDF5 standard in relation to metadata. DMI is in 2022 planning on using a newer version of ODIM HDF5 standard, where the issue in relation to metadata will be fixed. \n \nAt this time the service does not have an API-endpoint for the stations. It will be released as soon as possible. \n \nPlease also note that it is not possible to filter by 'qcStatus' and 'validity'. This will be possible in a future release. \n \nKnown issues in this release: \n<ul><li>For stationValues with the parameter 'max_precip_30m' there is a small amount of invalid values in the dataset. We will fix this issue as soon as possible.</li> \n<li>'calculatedAt' is not updated in the dataset, if the value is unchanged after recalculation.</li></ul>
