There is gale warning for all warning areas.

A low, 985 hPa, northeast of the Faroe Islands is moving towards northeast over The Norwegian Sea. An associated front zone over the Baltic Sea is moving further towards east and is this evening followed by a weak ridge of high pressure, about 1015 hPa. A new low, about 980 hPa, is this evening moving from westsouthwest, late this night passing between Scotland and the Faroe Islands. An associated new front is this evening moving towards The North Sea from west and continues this night towards Skagerrak and the northern part of Denmark.

Southern Baltic
Gale from southwest and westsouthwest, 10 to 15 m/s, this afternoon becoming west, from late this evening decreasing to, 8 to 13 m/s, later transiently further a little decreasing. Thursday morning becoming southwest and during the morning increasing to gale, 10 to 15 m/s. Improving visibility to mainly good visibility, apart from a few showers.

Western Baltic
Gale from southwest and westsouthwest, 10 to 15 m/s, gradually becoming west, during the afternoon decreasing, 8 to 13 m/s, this night becoming southwest, and Thursday morning up to gale, 10 to 15 m/s. Mainly good visibility.

The Belts and the Sound
The Belts: up to gale from southwest and west, 10 to 15 m/s, becoming west, in the afternoon decreasing to 8 to 13 m/s, this night becoming southwest and south, transiently, below 10 m/s. Thursday morning again up to gale from southwest, 10 to 15 m/s. Good visibility, from this night locally light rain with moderate visibility.
