Temmelig solrig februar
Med en månedsmiddeltemperatur for landet som helhed på 0.2°C blev februar 2005 kun lidt varmere, 0.2°C over normalen over perioden 1961-90. Månedens højeste temperatur 9.6°C forekom i Tirstrup på Djursland den 2., og månedens laveste temperatur, -13.3°C forekom natten til den 28. i Skrydstrup ved Vojens.
I gennemsnit ud over landet faldt der i februar 2005 44 mm nedbør (meget som sne), eller 16% over normalen. Mest nedbør i februar i år fik Bornholm med knap 70 mm i gennemsnit (norm 32), mens der i Nordjyllands amt kun faldt ca. 35 mm i gennemsnit (norm 35) som mindst.
Solen skinnede i gennemsnit ud over landet i 85 timer. Det er 23% over normalen. Mest sol, over 100 timer, var der i det nordlige Vestjylland, mens der som mindst kun var ca. 55 timer over Bornholm.
Landstallet af graddage, eller opvarmningsbehovet, i februar 2005 blev i gennemsnit ud over landet ca. 5% mere end det normale, gennemsnittet over perioden 1982-2000.

Vejret i marts 2005 - statistisk set
Med en normal februar, som i år, er der efterfølgende temperaturmæssigt 55% chance for en normal marts, 25% for en kold, og således 20% chance eller risiko for en varm marts. Marts er kold, når månedsmiddeltemperaturen kommer under +1.0°C.

The Weather in Denmark - February 2005
Pretty sunny February.
The monthly mean temperature in February 2005 for the Country as a whole was 0.2°C, which is only 0.2°C above the average (0.0) during the period 1961-90. The highest temperature of the month 9.6°C was registered in Tirstrup (Djursland) the 2th, and the lowest temperature, -13.3°C, was registered in Skrydstrup near Vojens in southern Jutland during the night to the 28th.
In average the Country as a whole received 44 mm of precipitation in February 2005. It is only a little above normal. Most precipitation was in the Island of Bornholm with almost 70 mm (norm. 32), and as least only 35 mm (norm. 35) in Northern Jutland County.
The Sun was shining for the Country as a whole in 85 hours in February 2005. It is 23% above normal. Most sun, more than 100 hours, was in the northern part of Westjutland, and only roughly 55 hours of bright sunshine in the Island of Bornholm.
Weather in March 2005 statistically.
Since February 2005 had a normal mean temperature statistically, there is a 55% chance of a normal March, a 25% chance of a cold March, and a 20% chance of a warm March. March is defined cold when the mean temperature gets below +1°C.
