Ice charts
The Centre for Ocean and Ice at DMI regularly produces ice charts
covering the Greenland Waters. The ice charts are produced mainly to support navigation around Greenland.
The DMI ice chart production is focusing on three main regions.
- The Cape Farewell region,
- The west coast, and
- The east coast
Charts
covering the Cape Farewell region are produced routinely, whereas the production of other charts is
adjusted according to seasonal demand.
